Frank Ernesto Martínez Cuban, b. 1972
A graduate from the Academia de Bellas Artes “San Alejandro”, La Habana, in 1993 and the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), La Habana, 2000, Martínez has taught two graphics workshops, first at ISA and then at the Museo de la Estampa y el Diseño Carlos Cruz Diez in Caracas. He was a resident at the Art OMI International Artist Residency, New York and his work has been exhibited in 16 solo shows in Cuba, the USA, Germany, and England, and in 104 group shows in Cuba, Germany, England, the USA, Brazil, Spain, Venezuela, Mexico and Japan. He lives in Havana, Cuba.
