Reynerio Tamayo Cuban, b. 1968
Graduating from the Instituto Superior de Arte (ISA), La Habana, in 1992, his work has been exhibited in numerous solo shows, including: Gangsters en La Habana, Colateral, XI Bienal de La Habana; La tierra comprometida, Galería Habana; and Magma mía!!! Galería Villa Manuela, La Habana. Tamayo has participated in over 90 group shows worldwide, and has been an invited artist to the IX, X and XI Bienal de La Habana, and the Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo ARCO in Madrid. Tamayo is a member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba (UNEAC). He lives between Cuba and Spain.
